The New England Streetworker Conference at Gillette Stadium on September 18th, 2026, will bring in speakers from across the country, celebrate accomplishments, and provide an opportunity to re-energize all street workers. Over the years, the New England Streetworker Conference has become a cornerstone event for frontline street outreach workers in our region, offering a platform to celebrate and educate those dedicated to community violence intervention. This gathering bolsters network building activities between all grantees and strengthens the culture that allows youth workers to call upon each other in moments of crisis to best serve all young adults.

Training Description
The New England Streetworker Conference at Gillette Stadium on September 18th, 2026, will bring in speakers from across the country, celebrate accomplishments, and provide an opportunity to re-energize all street workers. Training Learning Objectives
- Build professional connections – During the event, participants will connect with at least 5 violence interventionists and streetworkers, with the opportunity of exchanging contact information to expand their professional network.
- Engage in peer support and knowledge exchange – Participants will be able to actively contribute to at least 3 conversations or sessions, where they both offer and receive advice, strategies, and encouragement related to CVI work.
- Learn and identify best practices – Participants will be able to attend at least 2 workshops and identify 2 or more best practices relevant to their work.
- Strengthen understanding of community mobilization – Participants will engage in sessions focused on community mobilization and identify at least 3 actionable strategies discussed during the event.
- Participate in professional development – Participants will take part in at least 2 professional development sessions and note key skills or approaches they can use in their roles.
- Network and celebrate collective work – Participants will attend at least 2 networking or celebratory activities and engage with peers to acknowledge and reflect on shared successes in CVI work.
- Contribute to strengthening the streetwork field – During discussions and sessions, participants will have the opportunity to share their experiences, insights, or resources at least twice to contribute to collective learning and field-building.
- Support staff wellness – Participants will have an opportunity to learn 1-2 wellness practices.
