Chief People Officer

The Chief People Officer will drive a joyful, mission-driven, and positive organizational culture. They are responsible for leading UTEC’s people and talent strategies, managing and mitigating organizational risks, and continuing the development of their human resource-related strategies, policies, and procedures.

Paid Time Off

We offer 11 paid holidays, 10 sick days, 2 personal days, and vacation time that increases with your time at UTEC (3 weeks for 0-5 years of service, 4 weeks for 6-15 years of service, and up to 5 weeks after 15 years).

Health and Dental Insurance

We contribute a portion of health and dental insurance plans for employees.

Subsidized Parking

We provide subsidized parking for staff.  Payroll deductions of $52 a month will provide staff with a monthly parking pass.

Parental Leave

In addition to Paid Family Medical Leave provided by the Commonwealth, UTEC provides 2 weeks fully paid parental leave.

Sabbatical

After 3 years, employees are eligible to apply for a paid Sabbatical up to 3 weeks. At least 1 week must be spent at an approved organization to learn about best practices. This includes reasonable travel and lodging coverage.

Racial Justice Professional Development

Employees can apply for training to support continued development in Racial Justice. Up to $1,500 can be requested for professional development.

Retirement Plan

We offer employees the opportunity to contribute on a pre-tax or after-pre-tax basis (up to $19,500/year, plus an additional $6,500 for those at least age 50). UTEC will match up to $2000 for the first $2000 saved for the year.

Life Insurance & Worldwide Travel Assistance

UTEC provides, at no cost to employees, $50,000 of life insurance for staff members and a worldwide travel assistance program that provides trip assistance, access to emergency medical assistance, and more.

First Time Homebuyer Program

If you are purchasing your first home in Lowell, Lawrence, or Haverhill, UTEC will pay for your homebuyer training, and up to $2,500 toward your down payment.
