Patriots Foundation, Bank of America give UTEC $50G
LOWELL — A $50,000 award from the New England Patriots Foundation and Bank of America will go a long way in helping UTEC’s mission of helping young people in the Merrimack Valley.
Just as there are six captains on an NFL Team, in September the Patriots Foundation and Bank of America selected six New England-based organizations to serve as “Community Captains” in a two-year program designed to better understand and support the missions of each nonprofit.
Joshua Kraft, president of the Patriots Foundation, and Miceal Chamberlain, president of Bank of America Massachusetts, were in Lowell to make the donation Wednesday.
