LOWELL — In their cramped kitchens, budding entrepreneurs are feverishly working to build their food businesses.
But eventually, the entrepreneurs may realize they need more space and bigger equipment. As a result, they move their operations to a larger community kitchen.
In this area, food entrepreneurs have desired one of these community kitchens for years. In only a few weeks, their wish will be granted.
The UTEC Community Kitchen is the latest expansion of its food services social enterprise on Warren Street. The new 5,000-squarefoot commercial-grade kitchen includes separate work lines and equipment for food manufacturing.
