With the New Year here, Café UTEC’s Culinary Innovator has been busy creating and sampling new menu items. And our social enterprise crew has learned that customers love bold flavors and fresh ingredients.
Two new menu items now at Café UTEC:
For a vegetarian-friendly option, head over to try the new Portobello Mushroom Panini made with roast Portobello, caramelized onions, Swiss cheese, and herb aioli on pressed ciabatta at only $7.
If you’re craving greens, enjoy the new Kale Salad with bacon (optional), apples, cranberries, walnuts, and crumbled blue cheese, plus cider vinaigrette, at $7.
Cafe UTEC is more than your average lunchtime eatery. While enjoying a delicious Panini, a salad of locally-sourced veggies, or a fresh baked cookie, you also show support of UTEC’s mission to ignite and nurture the ambition of our most disconnected young people to trade violence and poverty for social and economic success.
As one of our social enterprises, Café UTEC provides young people most in need the opportunity to gain valuable job skills and real earnings to help them pursue positive life choices.
Hours are Monday to Thursday from 11:00am – 3:00pm.
